Description
Pollen allergy is the most common type of allergy, which usually has a seasonal character and coincides with the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen there is sensitization. Box Elder, birch, elm, oak, walnut, and olives often have cross-allergic reactions, so their allergens are collected in one panel. Allergy manifests as profuse lacrimation, discharge from the nasal cavity; less often cutaneous manifestations; in severe cases, attacks of suffocation, urticaria, Quincke's edema, seasonal pollen dermatitis with severe itching and various rashes. This study allows determining the presence of sensitization of the body to these allergens.
* Allergological studies containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening study that allows identifying sensitization (hypersensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this study is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
