Tree Allergen Mixture No. 5 (IgE): Alder, Common Hazel, Elm, White Willow, Poplar

Description

The most common type of allergy is pollen allergy, which, as a rule, is seasonal and coincides with the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen there is sensitization. Alder, common hazel, elm, white willow, and poplar often have cross-allergic reactions, so their allergens are collected in one panel. Allergy manifests as profuse lacrimation, discharge from the nasal cavity; less often skin manifestations; in severe cases, attacks of suffocation, urticaria, Quincke's edema, seasonal pollen dermatitis with severe itching and various rashes. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the organism to these allergens.

* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (hypersensitivity of the organism) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this study is issued for the mixture of allergens in general, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
