Description
The most common type of allergy is pollen allergy, which generally has a seasonal character and coincides with the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen there is sensitization. This comprehensive screening test allows detecting sensitization to weed pollen: common ragweed, common wormwood, plantain, white goosefoot, and Russian thistle. Allergy manifests as profuse lacrimation, discharge from the nasal cavity; rarer skin manifestations; in severe cases, attacks of suffocation, urticaria, Quincke's edema, seasonal pollen dermatitis with severe itching and various rashes. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human organism to these allergens.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (increased sensitivity of the organism) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this test is provided for the mixture of allergens in general, not for each specific allergen included in this group.
