Description
All allergens presented in the panel have pronounced sensitizing activity. Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, and mice can inhabit a person's apartment (house) as pets, thereby being a source of allergens that provoke the development or exacerbation of allergic diseases. The presence of mice and rats as pests can also cause the development of allergic pathologies such as bronchial asthma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, respiratory allergosis, and allergic conjunctivitis. This examination allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens.
* Allergological examinations containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening examination that allows identifying sensitization (increased body sensitivity) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this examination is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
