Description
All allergens presented in the mixture have pronounced sensitizing activity. Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and rats can live in the house as pets, thereby being sources of allergens that provoke the development or exacerbation of allergic diseases. The presence of mice and rats as pests can also cause the development of allergic diseases such as bronchial asthma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, respiratory allergosis, and allergic conjunctivitis. This study allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (increased body sensitivity) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this study is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
