Description
Pollen allergy is the most common type of allergy, which usually has a seasonal character and coincides with the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen there is sensitization. The allergy manifests with profuse lacrimation, nasal discharge; less commonly with skin manifestations such as urticaria, Quincke's edema, seasonal pollen dermatitis with severe itching and various rashes; and in severe cases with asthma attacks (suffocation). This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a complex screening test that allows detecting sensitization (hypersensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this test is issued for the mixture of allergens in general, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
