Description
All allergens presented in the panel have pronounced sensitizing activity. House dust allergens are very diverse in their composition. They include substances of animal and plant origin, metabolic products of fungi, insects, and bacteria. The main components of house dust are mites of the genus Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, cat epithelium, dog epithelium, and allergens of fungi of the genus Aspergillus fumigatus. The determination of specific IgG in the blood primarily indicates the entry of one or more panel allergens into the body; in addition, it is believed that an increased concentration of specific IgG in the blood contributes to a decrease in the manifestations of immediate-type allergic reactions mediated by IgE and the formation of delayed-type hypersensitivity.
