Description
All allergens presented in the panel possess pronounced sensitizing activity.
House dust allergens are very diverse in their composition. They include substances of animal and plant origin, metabolic products of fungi, insects, and bacteria. Components of house dust may include mites of the genus Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Dermatophagoides farinae, dog dander, and cat dander.
Pollen allergy is also a common type of allergy, which typically has a seasonal character and is timed to the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen sensitization exists. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens: Timothy grass, Alternaria alternata (tenuis), Silver birch, Mugwort.
Manifestations of an allergic reaction are typically coughing fits, difficulty breathing, and constant runny nose, especially in the morning hours. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens and is significant for diagnosing the causes of bronchial asthma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, respiratory allergoses, and allergic conjunctivitis.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (increased body sensitivity) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this test is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
