Description
All allergens presented in the panel have pronounced sensitizing activity.
House dust allergens are very diverse in their composition. They include substances of animal and plant origin, waste products of fungi, insects, and bacteria. Mites of the genus Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Dermatophagoides farinae, mold fungus (Cladosporium herbarum), dog dander, and cat epithelium can be a component of house dust.
Pollen allergy is also a common type of allergy, which, as a rule, is seasonal and coincides with the flowering periods of plants to the pollen of which there is sensitization. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens: birch, mugwort, Timothy grass, cultivated rye.
Manifestations of an allergic reaction are usually coughing fits, difficulty breathing, and persistent runny nose, especially in the morning hours. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the human body to these allergens and is important for diagnosing the causes of bronchial asthma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, respiratory allergoses, and allergic conjunctivitis.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "mixture of allergens" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (hypersensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this test is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
