Description
All allergens presented in the panel have pronounced sensitizing activity. House dust allergens are very diverse in their composition. They include substances of animal and plant origin, waste products of fungi, insects, and bacteria. The main component of house dust are mites of the species Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Dermatophagoides farinae, Dermatophagoides microceras, Lepidoglyphus destructor, Tyrophagus putrescentiae, Glycyphagus domesticus, Euroglyphus maynei, Blomia tropicalis. Determination of specific IgG in the blood primarily indicates the entry of one or more allergens of the panel into the body; in addition, it is believed that an increased concentration of specific IgG in the blood contributes to the reduction of manifestations of immediate allergic reactions mediated by IgE and the formation of delayed-type hypersensitivity.
