Food Allergen Mixture No. 5 (IgG): Egg white, Cow's milk, Cod, Wheat flour, Peanut, Soybeans

Description

Egg white, cow's milk, cod, wheat flour, peanut, and soybeans cause rapid development of food intolerance symptoms (within 1-3 days after consumption). Symptoms are particularly pronounced in adults, while children most often exhibit a slow and hidden course of food intolerance to the product. This test is used for the diagnosis of food intolerance to the panel allergens. Food intolerance occurs more frequently compared to food allergy and proceeds as allergic reactions involving specific immunoglobulins G (IgG-mediated). In this case, hidden food allergy develops – a delayed-type allergy, which is more dangerous because external clinical manifestations of the disease will develop slowly (up to several days), and often they may not be present at all for a long time. Slowly progressing pathological processes in the organs and tissues of the body can often lead to chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and nervous systems, skin, and can also have a negative impact on the mental sphere (depression, hyperexcitability in children).

* Allergological examinations containing the phrase "mixture of allergens" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (hypersensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this study is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
