Description
Rice, sesame seeds, wheat flour, buckwheat flour, and soybeans are strong allergens. This study allows determining the presence of body sensitization to the presented allergens and thereby identifying possible cross-allergic reactions to the panel allergens. Allergy manifestations can include digestive system dysfunction (cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis), skin manifestations (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema), and respiratory system dysfunction (allergic rhinitis, asthma). An allergic reaction to nuts can often proceed in the form of a severe attack of bronchial asthma.
* Allergological studies containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening study that allows identifying sensitization (hypersensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this study is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
