Description
Rice, sesame seeds, wheat flour, buckwheat flour, and soybeans cause rapid development of food intolerance symptoms (within 1-3 days after consuming them). Symptoms are particularly well pronounced in adults; in children, a slow and latent course of food intolerance to this product is most often observed. This test is used for the diagnosis of food intolerance to the allergens in the panel. Food intolerance occurs more frequently compared to food allergy and proceeds according to the type of allergic reactions involving specific immunoglobulins G (IgG-mediated). In this case, latent food allergy develops – a delayed-type allergy, which is more dangerous because external clinical manifestations of the disease will develop slowly (up to several days), and not infrequently, they may be absent altogether for a long time. Slowly progressing pathological processes in the organs and tissues of the body can often lead to chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and nervous systems, skin, and can also have a negative impact on the mental sphere (depression, hyperexcitability in children).
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (body's hypersensitivity) to a specific group of allergens. The result of this test is reported generally for the mixture of allergens, rather than for each specific allergen included in this group.
