Description
Egg white, rice, cow's milk, peanut, wheat flour, soybeans are potent allergens. This test allows determining the presence of sensitization of the organism to the presented allergens and thereby identifying possible cross-allergic reactions to the panel allergens. Manifestations of allergy can be digestive system function disorders (cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis), skin manifestations (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema) and respiratory system function disorders (allergic rhinitis, asthma). An allergic reaction to nuts can often occur in the form of a severe attack of bronchial asthma.
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a comprehensive screening test that allows detecting sensitization (hypersensitivity of the organism) to a specific group of allergens. In this case, the result of this test is issued generally for the mixture of allergens, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
