Description
Pork, chicken meat, beef, and turkey meat, as etiological factors of food allergy, are classified as having a moderate degree of allergenic activity (without taking into account individual characteristics). This test allows determining the presence of the organism's sensitization to the presented allergens and thereby identifying possible cross-allergic reactions to the allergens of the panel. Manifestations of allergy can be digestive system function disorders (cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis), skin manifestations (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema), and respiratory system function disorders (allergic rhinitis, asthma).
* Allergological tests containing the phrase "allergen mixture" in their name imply a complex screening test that allows detecting sensitization (increased sensitivity of the organism) to a specific group of allergens. Moreover, the result of this test is issued for the allergen mixture in general, and not for each specific allergen included in this group.
