Food allergen mix No. 73 (IgG): pork, chicken meat, beef, lamb

Description

Pork, chicken meat, beef, and lamb cause rapid development of food intolerance symptoms (within 1–3 days after consumption). Symptoms are especially pronounced in adults; in children, a slow and latent course of food intolerance is most often observed. This test is used to diagnose food intolerance to the allergens in the panel. Food intolerance is more common than food allergy and occurs as allergic reactions involving specific immunoglobulins G (IgG-mediated). This results in latent food allergy — a delayed-type allergy, which is more dangerous, since external clinical manifestations of the disease develop slowly (up to several days), and frequently may not appear at all for a long time. Slowly progressing pathological processes in the organs and tissues of the body can often lead to chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and nervous systems, and skin, and may also have a negative impact on the mental sphere (depression, hyperexcitability in children).

* Allergy tests containing the phrase "allergen mix" in their name refer to a comprehensive screening study that allows detection of sensitization (increased sensitivity of the body) to a specific group of allergens. The result of this study is issued as an overall value for the allergen mix, rather than for each individual allergen included in this group.
