Description
This examination is used for the diagnosis of breast tumors. The priority of this method is the diagnosis of breast cancer with the direct determination of the nosological form of cancer and its grade of malignancy.
When delivering biological material to the Diagnostic Center, it is necessary to inform the administrator of the following additional clinical information:
• Clinical diagnosis
• Ongoing therapeutic measures (hormone therapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, antibiotics intake)
• Localization of the biomaterial
• Start and end dates of the menstrual cycle
• Start date of uterine (physiological or pathological) bleeding (if present)
Number of microscope slides with cytological preparations within one study: up to 3 pcs.
Period of execution
Within 4 days. The specified time does not include the day of biomaterial collection
