Description
The method allows for the semi-quantitative determination of viral DNA in the test material. The test is of great importance in confirming the diagnosis of the disease, determining further treatment tactics, and evaluating the effectiveness of the therapy being conducted. Genotypes 16 and 18 of the virus are oncogenic, therefore early detection of the infection is of great importance for determining the prognosis and timely prescribing of adequate therapy.
