Human Papillomavirus High Carcinogenic Risk (types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66, 68), DNA quantitative, screening with determination of possible virus integration into the genome [real-time PCR]
Description
The study is used for the diagnosis of papillomavirus infection, with simultaneous determination of the amount of viral DNA in the test material. The analysis allows drawing a conclusion about the degree of mucosal damage and evaluating the effectiveness of therapy during treatment. The total amount of DNA of 14 high carcinogenic risk (HCR) HPV types is determined, with separate determination of DNA of HPV genotypes 16, 18, and 45. The test also allows assessing the probability of integration of HPV types 16, 18, and 45 into the human genome (which is a dangerous and prognostically unfavorable factor).
