Description
A comprehensive examination after the detection of viral hepatitis B during the primary diagnosis of viral hepatitis allows determining the form (acute, chronic), the stage of acute hepatitis (preicteric period, initial, peak, recovery), and the activity of chronic hepatitis (exacerbation, remission). Determination of antibodies to the hepatitis D virus allows either to exclude or to detect a mixed infection – hepatitis B together with hepatitis D.
The examination results are provided with a doctor's interpretation.
