Description
The study serves to detect the pathogen in respiratory system diseases, as well as sepsis in complicated forms of chlamydial infection. The test has high sensitivity and specificity, which allows establishing an accurate diagnosis and prescribing the most correct treatment. The method is necessary both for the diagnosis of the acute form of the infectious process and for the detection of chronic forms, since the result of the study does not depend on the stage of the disease or the severity of the body's immune response, but is determined only by the presence or absence of the pathogen in the examined biomaterial. Indications for analysis:
1. Pneumonia in children or persons with reduced immunity
2. Long-term upper respiratory tract infections
3. Suspicion of sepsis
Period of execution
Within 4 days. The specified time does not include the day of biomaterial collection
